2 Dr. BR Ambedkar Awas Navinikaran Yojna The aim of this scheme is to provide an amount of Rs 25,000/- in one installment for repair of their houses to the people of Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Tapriwas who are living below poverty line. Applicant should be permanent resident of Haryana and house which is required to be repair should be in the name of applicant. Such house of applicant should be atleast 10 years old constructed by himself or through any government aid provided he was not provided any aid for the repair of such house by Govt Haryana. download icon (446 KB)
3 Mukhya mantri Samajik Samrasta Antarjatiya Vihah Yojna The boys/girls of non Scheduled Castes on marrying with the boys/girls of scheduled castes who are permanent resident of Haryana are being granted incentive of Rupees 101000/- in the joint account of couple. Simple Application
4 Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes (Atrocity Prevention), Act 1989 Under the provisions of this Act a financial assistance of Rs 85000/- to Rs 825000/- is being provided to the victims of atrocities against the members of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes by the personnel of non -Scheduled Castes like un-authorised occupation of their land, rape, fire and murder etc. Simple Application
5 Legal Aid Scheme Under this scheme, there is a provision to provide legal assistance to the personnel of Scheduled Castes for defending their legal cases easily. Simple Application
6 Debate and Seminar In implementation of The Protection of Civil Right Act (PCR) 1955, to eradicate the evil of anti- un-touchability, debate and seminars are being organised. Under this scheme, lecture and essay writing competition on un-touchability are being conducted at District Headquarters and Colleges and an amount of Rs 10000/- per seminar is being granted for this purpose. No application. It is organized under the scheme by the Debate and Seminar Department.
7 Incentive for the Village Panchayat for Outstanding Work done for the Welfare of Schedule Castes For the commendable works for the welfare of Scheduled Caste like eradication of un-touchability, admission of children in schools, cleanliness programmes and other welfare activities like girls education, minimum wages, village panchayats are granted an incentive of Rs 50000/-. 8 Financial Assistance to the institutions/societies belonging to Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Under this scheme grants are given to the institutions/societies of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes for the construction and maintenance of community buildings used for educational/social works. 9 Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chhatar Yojna Under this scheme, with a aim to inculcate the feelings of competitions in the students of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes for post matric classes on acquiring the required prescribed percentage, an amount of Rs 8000/- to Rs 12000/- is being given whose parents/guardians’s annual family income from all sources is not more than 4.00 lakhs. download icon (162 KB)
10 Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for the students of Scheduled Castes Under the centrally sponsored scheme post matric scholarship for Scheduled Castes, students of SC category whose parents/guardian’s annual family income from all source is not more than 2.50 lakhs, are being granted maintenance allowance of Rs 230/- to 1200/- per months. In addition, all non-refundable fees are being reimbursed to the students for all post matric courses under this scheme. www.hryscbcschemes.in
11 Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for the students of Backward Classes Under the scheme, students of BC category whose parents/guardian’s annual family income from all source is not more than 1.00 lakh, are being granted maintenance allowance of Rs 160/- to 750/- per months. From the session 2015-16, in addition to the maintenance allowance, girl child of BPL family and all son/daughters of widow are being given all non-refundable fees and from 2017-18 all other eligible students will be granted 25% of tuition fees or Rs 5000/- (whichever is less) is being reimbursed to the students for all post matric courses www.hryscbcschemes.in
12 Financial Assistance for Higher Competitive Entrance Examinations to SC/BC candidates through Private Institutions The aim of this scheme, free coaching is being provided to the candidates of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes for various higher competitive examination/entrance examinations through reputed institutions. Income ceiling for this scheme has been increased from 100000/- to 250000/- to avail the benefit of this scheme. Simple Application
13 BabuJagjivan Ram Hostel Scheme Under this scheme, for the students of scheduled castes, 90% amount is given by Govt of India and 10% is to be borne by the institution. For construction of hostel or extension, 50% amount is given by Govt of India and balance 50% to be borne by State Govt and University. For private institutions, 45% amount is given by Central Govt, 45% by State Govt and balance 10% amount is to be borne by the institution. Simple Application
14 Scheme of Hostels for Other Bakward Classes (OBC) Boys and Girls 90% amount for construction of hostel for the girls of backward classes and 60% amount for construction of hostel for boys of Backward Classes are being given of Govt of India. Private Universities and institutions are being given 45% grants by Govt of India and 45% by State Govt and 10% to be borne by itself. 15 Tailoring Training to Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes to Widow / Destitute Women / Girls With a aim to generate the occasion of self-employment among the widows/ destitute/ girls of scheduled castes and backward classes one year tailoring training is being provided under this scheme. In addition an amount of Rs 300/- for purchasing raw material and Rs 600/- as monthly stipend is being given to each trainee and there is a provision to provide a new sewing machine after successful training. 16 Up gradation of Typing and Data Entry Skill of the SC/BC Un-empoyed Youth through Computer Training Under this scheme, one year free typing and data entry course is being conducted for the un-empoyed youth of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes through Hartron whose annual income from all source is less than 1.50 lakhs.
